Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. Mission Statement

To serve the Lord and glorify Him using the gifts He has given our employees to research, develop, manufacture, and market products that improve the quality of life for people and their pets.

Quality Assurance (QA)

The Nutramax Manufacturing, Inc. Quality Assurance Department is staffed by professionals who ensure that the products manufactured and tested are made in accordance with the regulations governing our industry. The QA department audits for compliance to all applicable regulations. From incoming materials to release of product, QA ensures that the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are adhered to and all products manufactured meet label claims. The QA department is the independent reviewer of all internal operations.

Quality Control (QC)

QC is a department of technical experts who test incoming materials and final products. They evaluate the data collected against pre-determined specifications and regulations. The QC lab operates in accordance with the GMPs as well.

Research and Product Development

The Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. Research & Development team consists of a staff of cell-molecular biologists, protein chemists and biomedical engineers led by a Johns Hopkins trained immunologist. The team works together to identify, optimize, standardize and develop novel, patented and science-based products for human, veterinary and agricultural applications. No product leaves our company without going through a rigorous process of product development that meets our quality standards.

Training

Our Training Department is made up of qualified instructors who facilitate the education of new employees in the following areas: GMPs, Safety, Security, Employee Development and basic Nutramax Manufacturing Inc. and Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. policies.

The department is integral to ensuring that the training files of those who work for the companies are complete and up-to-date with the specific regulations and industry guidelines. In addition to ensuring that the documents support the training, the department ensures that the training supports optimal operations in the plant.
