I started as an intern at Nutramax Laboratories during my senior year of college and immediately felt welcomed through the entire office. Upon graduating, I found myself in my first full time position working with an amazing company, doing something that I love, and progressing my career professionally and personally. I love working for Nutramax for many reasons. They've provided me with many opportunities; from training, educational assistance and growth within the company. My Director is very encouraging, supportive, and is a great leader within the organization. Everyone comes to work with a smile on their face and are very friendly. Our ownership is passionate about what they do and it's evident that they care about their employees. Nutramax is truly a family!
Coming out of college, the only thing I wanted was to work for a company with values, where I could start a career that I loved. I found that and much more at Nutramax. I believe the first thing I told my parents after getting to know the culture was, 'Do companies like this even exist?' Obviously, they do!

Working at Nutramax for almost 12 years has been quite a wonderful career adventure. I could hardly believe a workplace existed where, not only was I free to express my Christian beliefs openly but also share them with others. Nutramax is a great place to work for many reasons. One of the greatest reasons is they truly care for their employees. They show this in many ways; by sending out birthday cards containing a gift card, holding family days at the zoo, and providing Thanksgiving dinner. But the time that meant the most to me was when my husband had a severe motorcycle accident and was in the ICU for months. To ease my burden, Nutramax sent meals to my home for my kids and me. During one especially hard day, I was in the breakroom and had just gotten off the phone with the doctor, Dr. Troy stopped and prayed with me. Dr. Bob and Dr. Todd checked on me often to make sure my kids and I were not in need of anything. Countless others sent cards, food, and prayers. It was an extremely hard time, but I never felt like I was going through it alone.
I’m so glad I decided to join Nutramax, where I could engage in meaningful work. I have been provided opportunities to innovate, implement ideas, and develop new skills and knowledge. Being surrounded by people who are talented and supportive, I enjoy being part of such a great group.
I started at Nutramax Laboratories in early 2012. The company was still relatively new to our area. At that time, I didn’t realize how truly blessed I was! The atmosphere here is unlike any I’ve experienced in years! There is always room for improvement, and I think Nutramax management is constantly looking for things that will help us become the best we can possibly be in all areas. I can’t think of anywhere I would rather be than at Nutramax!
When it comes to being an employee at Nutramax, you know and understand that you are so much more than just another Employee. From day one, it was clear that we are a family and I am valued. Not only do I feel valued when I walk through the doors of Nutramax each day, but I feel loved. The love of God shines from the front door to the back door. Nutramax Laboratories gave me an amazing opportunity in 2017. They took me in as a young, unfinished student and transformed me into the Maintenance Technician I am today. Over the past 5 years, I have seen nothing less than a family company striving for its ultimate goal: To serve God in all we do. I am just thankful for the job environment I am surrounded with every day, and I'm looking forward to many more years to come!
